I adjusted to my new surroundings well; and it was monkey business as per usual! We did have to stay inside, as it was very smoky outside...even in Oceanside where we were.
It rained ashes every night!
Burned house next to standing house in Rancho Bernardo, not too far from our house.
You can't see it in the photo, but on top of that burned hill is the white cross...still standing. This is the one you can see from the freeway.
