Makin' pancakes EARLY with Mama!! I actually used my apron again...
Below: Learning about the birds & the bees...and the turtles. This was a really cool Discovery Channel moment. We saw this Mama turtle digging her hole to bury her eggs. We can't wait to see the babies! Her legs stretched out REALLY far to scoop out the dirt. Willie stayed very quiet, as we watched. She caught a glimpse of him, and we had to scoot back.
Watching TEMBO at the new Elephant Odyssey Exhibit at the Zoo! She is the only African Elephant in the group, and is missing half of her right ear. She is known as the "Independent Thinker," and we like that! She is very food-motivated, and was heard PURR-ing as she sucked up her celery, squash, and cheerios snack!
Riding on, and giving a little "tickle, tickle" to the replica of the extinct giant man-sized hawk!
